| The lands we are on in Conan Exiles are in fact on the plant of Gor and have in theory been discovered many times over the last few decades by shipwrecked Goreans. It is entirely plausible to be a native of these lands and have learned Gorean, or better yet to be the child of shipwrecked Goreans who was raised here. I suspect that role-players will be far more interested in the role-play from others about these new lands then they will be about Earth.<includeonly> <Read Me></includeonly><noinclude>

| Natives on New Sardar are not exactly the same as the Conan races. While the easiest solution for our fiction is to imply that the natives are LIKE those races from Conan and may have perhaps originally been from Hyboria there are some distinct differences:
| |
| | |
| ; What you must know about playing a Native on New Sardar
| |
| * We are on the planet of Gor, not on Hyboria.
| |
| * Natives do not speak Gorean, but may have learned it from another arrival over the last decade or so.
| |
| * Natives are not familiar with any history beyond that of what can be known from the actual game environment. Consequently:
| |
| :* The wider Conan lore from the books is not known to them.
| |
| :* Natives do not know of any land area other than the game environment of New Sardar, tho those few who have learned Gorean may be familiar with the main land/known world.
| |
| :* As it appears in the game environment, there are no native cities beyond the village of New Asgarth.
| |
| * The clothing and armor restrictions are in effect for all characters regardless of backstory.
