One of the advantages to the role-play of Gor is that medicine is advanced. It allows for more serious wounds then you can normally get away with in other medieval settings that don't have magical solutions. And while advanced surgery is likely beyond the scope of what is available in New Sardar I suggest that we expand known Gorean herbs with those unique to this land mass and allow those to take the place of some of the more advanced pharmacological solutions found on the main land.

Please don't go to far and start bringing in earth herbs and plants not represented in this game, but including those few found here in addition to those of the main land should be realistic enough to maintain our by the book immersion.

Medicine on Gor is surprisingly advanced for the setting, especially in the bigger cities. Most of that medicine is available on this island. However there does seem to be some rather advanced herbalism and alchemistry; it is probably very unfamiliar to most main land physicians, but should be easy enough to learn. (Torvaldsland and other barbarian tribe "healers" would pick it up just as fast.)

One of the advantages to the role-play of Gor is that medicine is advanced. It allows for more serious wounds then you can normally get away with in other medieval settings that don't have magical solutions. And while advanced surgery is likely beyond the scope of what is available in World's End I suggest that we expand known Gorean herbs with those unique to this land mass and allow those to take the place of some of the more advanced pharmacological solutions found on the main land.

Please don't go too far and start bringing in earth herbs and plants not represented in this game, but including those few found here in addition to those of the main land should be realistic enough to maintain our by the book immersion.
