| Founded more than a century ago, Port Argentum was founded by Julianus Munius Docilus, a native of Argentum on the mainland. Julianus ruled as Ubar for most of the history of Port Agentum. However, things changed a few years ago when Tiberius Rau, an innovative builder with a specialty in chemistry arrived in World’s End.

| He had come searching for a place where he could live away from the outlawry of Turan Cove which was ruled by his father-in-law Anbar al Amhara. Tiberious has made the mistake of accepting the submission of his free companion, Layla al Amhara, Anbar’s daughter. Anbar’s outrage was as palpable as the island’s maelstrom. Unwilling to do harm to each other Tiberious chose to move to Port Argentum hoping to have the opportunity to demonstrate his ingenuity and proficiency in the sciences.

| Little did he know that in World’s End, he would not only find what he was looking for, but would rediscover a great secret thought to be long lost. Of the builder caste, Tiberious was a mechanical genius and chemist. A crucial combination that allowed him to re-formulate the power source used on the mainland to power items such as glow bulbs, goads and mechanical equipment. This breakthrough would push Port Argentum to the forefront of the regional power struggle and the high caste council would elect Tiberious to the position of Administrator.

| The Gorean Caste system exists in Port Argentum, including the caste of Assassins. Traditional Gorean gender roles and mannerisms, including dress, are upheld in Port Argentum to this day. Trained kajira, kajirus, exotic, and bred slaves are a flourishing industry.

| Under the leadership of Tiberius Rau, Port Argentum continues to flourish, renowned for their citrus and avocados exports, skilled artisans, and scholarly pursuits, it is the destination for skilled tradespeople and scholars alike. It is a city of architectural wonder, from the tall marble columns, arena, bath houses and Pani tea house. And nearly as well known the local paga tavern sports some of the islands most beautiful and skilled paga slaves, who come with the cost of a the paga.

| Today, Port Argentum is home to some wealthiest traders in the region, as well as a thriving hub for art and design. Though the secret of its battery-making may have been shared with the High Jarl of Torvald’s Landing, Port Argentum is still the only place where they are manufactured.
