Alternative health and death system 3.1.0 knocks players out on initial death. We still have settings that allow for true death after knock out. To access the aid and other options on the player press and hold the interact key and select the option from the radial menu.
- All "death" results in an initial 30 second knock out.
- This is by intention. If you die alone, being forced to wait even longer before you actually die is a waste of your time. Thirty seconds, by experience, is more then enough time for a hunting partner to either aid you or extend your unconscious timer to two mines. If your hunting partner can not aid you in time, then you are in a fight that should result in death. Item loss on death adds to players caution with PvP and keeps the economy moving forward with PvE.
- If you are not assisted by another player, the KO will result in a normal Conan death and item loss
- Radial Menu Options
- The radial menu for the system can be accessed by pressing and holding the interact (E) key on the player's corpse. The radial menu offers the following options
- Other players can assist you when KO'd and help you up, no item loss.
- Other players can extend your unconsciousness for up to 2 mins - this should provide enough time to bind/loot the other player.
- Other player can kill you while unconscious. If this happens two things to consider: First, remember that a mechanical death is not perma-death. Second, if you did not get role-play, you should report it to the moderators.
